DAY 7

DAY 7 (WEEK ONE)
I never thought that quiting smoking and actually being consciously SERIOUS about giving up for good, would be so damn hard.
Ok so its only been one week. But I still crave a cigarette like you wouldnt believe. Not all the time I grant you, but when the boredom bug kicks in that's when it gets difficult to switch off.
I have given up smoking so I can restart my like and loose the cought, go back to kick boxing (and stay there this time...LOL), carry my daughter who loves daddy to chauffer her around like a human taxi, start running, go fo long cycle rides on the expensive mountain bike thats been in limbo for a long time now.
Most importantly...I want to live as long as possible so I can meet my grandchildren should my daughter grow up and have kids of her own.
At the moment, the mornings are noticably easier, I do however get the odd headache first thing before I have the first nescafe goldblend of the day, but the cough has gone and I can breath freely without any wheezing that most get after a while from smoking.
I know I wont go back to it, but its just finding something to occupy the moments of bordom when that craving kicks in like a long lost friend knocking on the door.
I digress.
bye bye
