What a week!!!

My replacement phone came the other day, and I don't mind admitting to being so overjoyed that I could have cried. You see, I had more of less resigned myself to the fact that I was never going to get anywhere with Orange even though it was bought and paid for from an official Orange UK shop in Ipswich. Several Orange reps when I did phone up simply repeated the same points to me: You'll have to go back to shop you bought it from who are likely to send the faulty phone back to the company who made it. The company are called HTC and make all kinds of PDA Phones that have become so popular recently in Japan, USA and the UK. AND USUALLY HAVE A REPAIRS TURN AROUND WITHIN 4 TO 8 WEEKS !!!!!

Anyway.... as you can imagine I was furious and on my last call to Orange and out of sheer desperation I pleaded with them by case. The person on the other end was completely different that the others I'd been forced to deal with. This rep sorted out everything and arranged for a brand new replacement delivery the very next day. WOW

I guess part of my problem as to why I was so upset was because my phone is not just any old phone. You see I use my phone to keep my entire life together, such as ALL my assignment work for college, and am also able to keep my daughter occupied if we go out for the day; by storing her Tom and Jerry, Pink Panther or and full feature films on it.I usually make a copy of the best dvd I buy for her and store them on the phones memory card. So you can see that life without sound and the prospect of having no replacement was very upsetting.
So thank God for not so small mercies, and in this particular instance / case 'Small Miracles in the shape of a little black and silver box of tricks!!'

I am going to keep this log short as I have a really upset tum and need to go lie down. We all ate a take away meal from the local Fish and Chip shop near the traffic lights and we ALL have the same upset tum problem. Strange that isn't it.
